Italian bread toasts with Prima Donna cheese, apricot and red pepper jelly.
50g (1.8 oz) of dry apricot
Italian bread style
Prima Donna maturo cheese wedge (180 to 220g)
Red pepper jelly
Pre heat the oven to 350 F. Meanwhile prepare the bread cutting it in thick slices as per your preference and grate some Prima Donna maturo cheese.
Spray some butter on the top and put in the oven. After approximate 5 minutes take the bread slices out of the oven and put the grated Prima Donna on the bread slices , one apricot over it and more Prima Donna on top of the apricot and take it back to the oven.
When you see the Prima Donna has melted it is time to take it outof the oven. Time to add the final touch, putting one tea spoon of red pepper jelly on top and enjoy it ! it is an explosion of flavors when the salty from the cheese , the sweetness from the apricot and the spiciness from the red pepper jelly fulfill your mouth!
