At the TAVOLA trade fair (Kortrijk - Belgium), which was held in March 2008, Landana goat cheese OLD was the winner of the GOLDEN TAVOLA 2008.

"Landana Goat cheese OLD is a mature, flavoursome goats' cheese made from 100% Dutch goats' milk, which is famous all over the world for this high quality and excellent taste. The cheese is made in the traditional manner and allowed to ripen naturally on wooden planks for 10 months. This maturing process takes place in traditional cheese curing facilities in the green heartland of the Netherlands. The master cheesemaker uses his skill and experience to judge when the cheese has developed the appetizing, full-bodied flavour he is looking for, so that it can leave the curing hall. This product is in line with the growing popularity of goats' cheese. It's attractive, full-bodied flavour makes it a unique product. In view of all this, the jury selected it as the winner of the Golden Tavola Traiteur."
